Set Up Your Dev Environment

Set up your developer environment to quickly connect to Hubble's Cloud API platform.

Prerequisites​

To interact with Hubble's Cloud API, you will need:

  • A Hubble Dashboard (if you don't already have one, you can sign up now).
  • An API token and your Org ID, both found in your Hubble Dashboard.

Choose Your Integration Method​

Pick the approach that fits your workflow:

OpenAPI Spec​

Import the raw OpenAPI spec (YAML) into your API client or code generation tool of choice.

Hubble CLI​

Install and configure the Hubble CLI to interact with the API directly from your terminal.

Agent Plugin​

Point your AI coding tool to the public Agent Plugin to enable natural-language API interactions.

Next Steps​

  1. Onboard your devices by registering a new device to your Hubble organization.
  2. Integrate your firmware with the Hubble Device SDK so your device beacons on the network.
  3. Get packet data from your devices via API and/or webhook.
