InPlay
InPlay’s NanoBeacon family takes a radically different approach to BLE development: no firmware, no compiler, no RTOS. You configure the IN100 SoC through a desktop tool and it broadcasts BLE advertisements directly from hardware. This makes it ideal for ultra-low-cost asset tags, smart labels, and wireless sensors where simplicity and cost matter more than programmability.

About InPlay
InPlay is a Silicon Valley semiconductor company focused on ultra-low-power, ultra-low-cost BLE solutions for active RFID, asset tracking, and wireless sensor applications. Their NanoBeacon family of SoCs implements the BLE protocol directly in hardware circuitry, eliminating the need for firmware development entirely. Devices are configured through the NanoBeacon Config Tool desktop application and can be operational in minutes.
The IN100, the first NanoBeacon SoC, supports Bluetooth 5.3 with iBeacon, Eddystone, and custom beacon formats. It operates from 1.1V to 3.6V, supports I2C, ADC, GPIO, and 1-wire sensor interfaces, and is available in packages as small as 2.0×1.1mm (WLCSP) — the world’s smallest BLE SoC.
